She is the head of self government and hold her school in Kyiv, Ukraine, and an active person who often organizes valuable events for her peers, and associate one various literary competitions and is a person who is curious to try many things in this world. Anastasia, how are you today? Anastasia Siromakha 1:06 Hello, I'm fine. Nothing special is real. And what about you? Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 1:11 I'm feeling positive. I'm feeling optimistic, and very curious about you. So I'll ask this. If your friends could describe your personality, what would they say about you? Anastasia Siromakha 1:25 I think it depends on a person, which you will ask because someone will say that I'm really active, emotional, and kind person. And now they will say that I'm just usual, calm, but also kind. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 1:48 I love that. And because each person has their own opinion, are you someone who is very confident so you don't worry? When haters hate? Anastasia Siromakha 1:59 Yes, I do. I do not think that what people think, doesn't matter at all. If this person, of course not really important for you. Because you should leave just how you want and what people think is third, or even serve second place in your life. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 2:27 I love that confidence. And I noticed you have a little bit of a British accent is it because you love Harry Potter and the Queen and all that stuff, or it's just your usual accent? Anastasia Siromakha 2:40 It's my usual accent. That's because in our school, we started learn English from the first grade and there was not American, this was British accent and British English adult from first day. So maybe because of that, Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 3:01 I like it and what motivates you to be so active? What is the goal or the drive or the reason why you're involved in events and in different things Anastasia Siromakha 3:15 is real, I just understand that it can help me in the future, to became person who I want to be. And at all it just interesting for me. It's quite fun. And also it proved, I think, my skills. So I do it just because it's interesting and useful. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 3:42 Thank you. And when you meet new people, are you open and warm in the beginning? Or are you a bit cold? And maybe some people think oh my god, she's arrogant. And she has a bit face? Anastasia Siromakha 3:55 Oh, no. Usually I open from the first second when we met meet. Because this is first time when you meet I think you should be 100% Real you because it will depend. Or it really depends on my mood because it's always change and I have something new in another hour or a few minutes. So but usually I really try to be true myself. When I meet someone. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 4:36 Thank you and why do you think your mood changes often? Is it something you control? Are you surprised that you think oh my god, I don't know why my mood is changing. Do you have a theory to explain? Anastasia Siromakha 4:51 No, I usually understand why does it happened? It's because my life is really interesting and You're not going on straightaway, it's usually changed every minute. And that's fact. Because of that fact. My moods also change with situations. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 5:16 I like that. So you choose, do you believe that forever you'll have an unusual interesting life where there is a roller coaster and things are always changing? Or is it something you want or now, but you're like dreaming about a stable cow situation? Anastasia Siromakha 5:37 To tell truth, I want straight life, like, everything might be how I planned so and all the things and but for now, it's really fine, because I'm not really old person. So I think it's normal and interesting. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 5:57 Thank you. And you said you're very positive. Do you feel your peers are also very positive, very active that many young Ukrainians are now in that situation? Or a it's difficult to find similar people to use? So you're always searching to find your people? Anastasia Siromakha 6:18 No, it's quite easy. I mean, if you will meet even one person like you, your person, as I always say, it will be easier to leave. Like, I have many person in my life with which I can call my person. I didn't know how but they're just found. And I know every of them more than five years, so it's quite easy. For me. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 6:56 Thank you. And how do you know if someone new is your person? Is it an energy where you feel oh, my God, I feel I know this person for like, 10 years? Or is it because you share similar opinions and values? Or they're also working on projects with you? What makes someone your person? Anastasia Siromakha 7:18 Oh, my persons are my pupils. They have 100% in other interests and in other opinions in every situation. But like, if this person is not my, then why are we together for so much years? I think that if this person could be not why we stopped talking stuff before been friends for a long time ago. So it's just we feel comfortable together. So I think this is the best what you even can feel. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 8:08 I agree. And I really like that and to know more about you. You won some literary competitions. Tell me about what kind of thing are you interested in? Is do you love writing? Do you love reading and learning about literature? Do you wish you were born in the era 1800 When all the big novels from the classics were written or before telling me everything? Anastasia Siromakha 8:37 Really? I thought about that about that fact, I want to turn in for example 100 ATS 108 Hundreds because I think they're that time is the more aesthetic ever. And I love reading I am all my childhood. I didn't like that. But like on current time and when war started I start started reading for really a lot. So I enjoyed now and this is my way to relax. I Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 9:21 think you mentioned aesthetic. What does it mean to you? What makes aesthetic important and how can you like for you as Anastasia? How can you explain the meaning of aesthetic? Anastasia Siromakha 9:36 Um, I think I'm mentioned minutes like I love their dresses. They are how they look like they are buildings as you said, oh like as I know from books and films from movies. I love their people's people. persons people's. I just love Hi pal, people lived in those types. Surely I can to save for 100%. And I can't be sure that they really lived like that. Of course, they had some open problems, but the whole, the whole things that we can see is like and I really enjoyed. And aesthetic, I think it's just makes me comfortable. I feel comfortable when I see some pictures, some drawings, which, like 101,800 years, and just enjoy it. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 10:54 Thank you. And I want to know, what inspires you these days? What do you do that makes you feel alive gives you energy? What activities are now making your life and your mental health much better. Anastasia Siromakha 11:11 I think it just it first came into school because I wasn't. I didn't go to school for a year or more. Like it was online. And now I feel really cool when I go to school. And all this noise. The teachers, not online. First of all, of course, but also I like reading as I told. Just watching my favorite Cereal. Cereal is serious. And maybe it's just usual things I have p because of usual things. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 12:00 I like that. And you mentioned that you didn't go to school for a long time. Do you feel that? That time without going to school has made many young people more shy, more awkward, unable to have good real life conversation? And more about texting or you think it's not really true? Anastasia Siromakha 12:24 Yeah, I agree with you. I mean that I also think that all this current tides war and longtime online learning and studying is really made a lot of children's shy of and I think it wasn't bad. Like it had all one positive. Positive but it really made more than half I think percent of children's really shy and on connectible on social and I think that made a half of children lives in the internet. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 13:17 I agree very much and in the future. Do you have big dreams? Do you have plans what to study or what to engage yourself with? Anastasia Siromakha 13:27 Um, I don't I don't know it was real. Because I I still have time. And I understand that I should think about it really hard. Because if I choose canteen which I hope I can future like after one month study needs it will be bad. But have such a dream. My dream is all only to to WATERSTOP. And basic was my took my family will be everything is cool. So nothing global. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 14:07 Thank you. And can you tell me about February 24? How was that day for you? How did you hear about the invasion and the war? Did you believe it at first How did you feel? Tell me the story of that day for you. Anastasia Siromakha 14:24 It's real, it wasn't something special if I can name it like that because my mom just came to my room at like nine in the morning and just told me to pack my things which I think is the most the most, which I'm the most laugh from all and whether they need really need. But then we just started stayed home and I was at home old bar I'm from I just came to village for two weeks. And that's all. And all this time I was in Kenya. I heard the how they bond case, and I saw all this news. But I understand that it's really bad and really sad. But for me, it was quite good. And I had, I mean that it wasn't really that bad as another person people had. So I really happy because of that. I like Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 15:39 your optimism and tell me You said you love TV series. Do you have a favorite one that you enjoy very much? Anastasia Siromakha 15:50 Maybe no. I love just watching TV serious. Well, they go in Well, when I have time for this. And now just five minutes would go to work. But half hour or two hours, I just take my favorite Stax, and just sitting behind me or notebook, and watching whatever is on TV. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 16:19 That's really cool. And you are Ukrainian. How can you explain who are Ukrainian people? Or what is different about Ukrainians, to the world compared to other cultures? Maybe about yourself or people, you know, what makes Ukrainians unique, Anastasia Siromakha 16:42 first of all, this language of words, and traditions, and of course, the fact that crane is Ukrainians are really brave and strong. We all of us saw that from 24. February. But I think not every person who has Ukrainian passport is cranium, because it is in Seoul, as I think every nationality so, you know, just Ukrainian because you burn in Ukraine, Ukrainian if you feel that you are Ukraine. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 17:29 I like that. And many people said that all Ukrainians became so much more patriotic after February 24. That a lot more people speak Ukrainian because of it, et cetera. Did you feel that too? Anastasia Siromakha 17:45 Yes. Oh, I think all Ukrainians saw the from 24 firmware that it's really important to talk in overlying our own language. And to to to think more impose our country because because we saw that the fact that they said that oh, they all speak Russian they love Russian they worship for us is like their propaganda. So we should we should think about it more and be more Ukrainian. So I didn't know like, how can I get? Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 18:40 I like how your thing. And you said you have free air friends for many years. Did they say in Ukraine, or did they go to other parts of Europe? Anastasia Siromakha 18:52 And some of them are in Europe now. And it was during crane. So someone is in Canada, someone is in Poland? And someone is coping with me to our school. So it depends on family. Someone is really scared someone is thinking about it about it. Okay, someone was ready. We're ready. Someone wasn't. And that's why everyone is I just can't imagine where and someone is already turned back from Europe. And somebody someone is just leaving. So lots of families lots of choices, lots of variants to go Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 19:50 I agree and I really for all of them I wish them success for Ukraine. I wish be Salado all I can say is Slava How could I uni? Anastasia Siromakha 20:02 This sounds really nice. Perfect. Thank you. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 20:07 You're welcome. And I wish you a good day. This was a wonderful conversation. Anastasia Siromakha 20:12 Yeah. Thank you. You too.
