Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 0:00 your femininity is powerful in all its forms, exceptional women, rare girls must be appreciated in every way for their perspectives, actions, thoughts, and their unique ways of being such rare girls are inspiring. And this is what this podcast is all about. Hello, my name is Aziz and my guest today is Vita Lena chef joke. Vita is a Ukrainian girl and the finance student of the Kia mohila Academy in Ukraine as well as an SEO copywriter. Lita loves to dance. It's her major hobby the way that she expresses her emotions through moves, and she has been dancing since the age of three years old. Vita performed at multiple festivals with her dance team, she won many first place medals and certificates. In addition to dance, Vita loves sports, walking in nature, visiting beautiful cafes, cooking, and taking pictures on film. Her future goals include starting her own business, buying a corgi, as well as helping her country, Ukraine Vita, how are you today? Vita Shevchuk 1:35 Ah, Hi, I'm fine. And I want to say that I'm really glad to participate in this podcast, because I like to talk about myself a lot. So thank you, and how are you? Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 1:47 I'm feeling lucky, optimistic, grateful to be part of this world and to be alive. And to ask you a bit more about your sincere love to speak about yourself. Well, what good feeling does it give you when you speak about yourself and people live in? Vita Shevchuk 2:07 Okay, thank you for question. I like to talk about myself, because I have so many interesting stories from my life. And I appreciate that all my friends are good listeners. Because I talks too much sometimes. And some people can be really bored from me. But my real friends they can see and listen for a long time when I talk a story. And Samsung about my life, my dance and Samsung likes it. And my family knows it. I like to talk about myself. And sometimes mom can say some stuff like please up, I can hear this more. As well sounds like this. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 2:57 This is really fascinating. I'm curious about something? How do you find all the stories in your life? Did you listen and try to understand how to tell a story so that you can remember how to tell people's stories? Or how did you learn this art of communication? As well as there are many people who think their days their life has no stories. So how do you find so many? Vita Shevchuk 3:25 Interesting question, I can say that I'm very extroverted person. So I like to talk with people and I can to meet new people just when I go for a walk, I can talk with them. And so then I have lots of stories. Because my life in school was very interesting. I was on many concerts. I don't know like I have many friends. And I go for a walk a lot. So every time when I walk, there is something to tell because something can happen there. And I don't know. It's just like life experience. I can, I can say that every story is super interesting and exciting. But it's my life experience. And I think that it's important to tell about this to my friends. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 4:29 Thank you. This is really really, really interesting. So you said your friends are good listeners and it's easy for you to meet new people but also before you wrote to me that you have one best friend. What's the difference between a best friend and the people who are friends but are not at that level? Vita Shevchuk 4:50 Okay, it's very good question. Yes, I have one best friend Her name is Sasha and we are friends for three or four years. yours can tell. And she's my best friend because she is always here for me, she can hear me, she can support me. And I know that when I have difficult situation in my life, I can call or text her and she will answer, even if she is busy and talking about other friends not so close, such best friends. They're interesting too, but I can can't tell them everything from my life. I can tell them interesting stories. I can speak with them about whether about education and other things. But only my best friend, she understands me. And she know she know everything about me about my dreams and about my goals in life. So it's the difference between such people thank you. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 6:01 And some people when they hear that they think, or if best friend because she can do something for you. That if she didn't help you when you need it, then you wouldn't like her, et cetera. I know. It's more philosophical than this. So some people say that friendship is not about doing. It's about when you speak to each other about the deep things and you understand each other, and like each other as people that if you do something more, and you're like the person because of the what they do for you, it's materialistic. But can you explain how does that maybe those people you think are wrong? Or how does it add to friendship, et cetera? Vita Shevchuk 6:46 Okay, I think that it's true, but not at all. Because it's not material, materialistic. Sorry. It's like, when my best friend, do something for me. It it's like, she understands me, she support me. And she appreciate me. Because if she, if she wasn't my best friend, she can do something to me. And so that's, I think that friendship is about things that person can do to you not only talk to you, but do for you because because people that don't like us, and they can't do anything for you. But it's really it's really crazy question, and it's hard to answer because it's really very philosophy. Samsung, Linksys, Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 7:50 thank you. That's really really interesting. And so I have to ask, you're always meeting people you love people. Have you ever met people where from the very first second you feel like you know them all your life you have instant chemistry and you'll become best friends forever for the first minute? Or do you talk to people you get to know them but you have to observe their behavior. If they help you and you help them and you are there for each other when is needed and you observe their values before you open yourself very deeply Vita Shevchuk 8:29 I can say is that when I meet a person for the first time, I should know this person better and know are your goals in life and then I can come a friends with your because talking about my experience with my best friend. When we first met I said something like Oh my god, Sasha awful person. I don't like your and then we don't don't speak for a long time because I didn't like your answer when we become best friends. So every time when I meet new people, the first slot is about bad features of this person. And then I can know this person better and become closer friends. It's always works like this. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 9:29 Thank you. And you said you're an extrovert. Can you explain to you what does it mean for you to be an extrovert and what is a person who is an introvert? For me Vita Shevchuk 9:41 being an extrovert it's when you can talk with people in a street in a shop, when you can call people and it's not a problem for you when you can explain people something And when you can talk a lot when you can support any conversation, it's about being extrovert. And about introvert is when you like afraid of people, you can have a couple of friends but nothing more, you can just go for a walk and have new friends or introverted people as they don't like parties and loud companies. But extroverted people and I very like loud parties and big companies. So sounds like this. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 10:38 Do you feel that social media is destroying this happiness and parties for extroverted people? Because a lot of people don't meet in real life as much. And they communicate online or you think this is not true and just a myth. I think Vita Shevchuk 10:54 that social medias can help extroverted people they can destroy something like artists because through social medias, people can find new people they can meet and make a party. And on the other hand, social media is a very good opportunity to introverted people to maybe find close friends. And as x introverted people don't like to meet with friends in the street, they can just text in with them. So social media is like something very important and essential part of our lives, especially today. So I think that social medias can be bad can destroy Samsung bots. It's more good for people. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 11:57 Thank you. And some people complain, they say when they go to a party, people are not having fun. They're busy pretending to have fun just to make Instagram stories and pictures, or they look cool, and they're not enjoying the moment. Do you think this is real? Do you see it with the people you see around or you think? No, this is just maybe in a few places in the world. But most people are living life outside. Vita Shevchuk 12:27 It's very common problem. And I can say from my experiences, sometimes when I'm on party, I can make photos for Instagram make stories and I forget. So have fun. Exactly. So it's really problem. Because people want to share their emotions. They want to seem cool in social medias, but when they seem cool as they really forget about their friends about their real life, because especially nowadays, people are should understand that they should live in the moment not in such telemeters but in real life. Because then you just come home. And you have not seen except social media. So do your photos from parties. And you think like, oh my gosh, it's so sad. I'm so lonely. And I think that on parties, every person should forget about smartphone and just have fun and just leave in moments of now. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 13:38 Thank you. And one of your future goals is to start your own business. Can you tell me more about that? And what motivates you to be one to be your own boss to create something? Wow, how did this dream begin Vita Shevchuk 13:56 talking about houses begin I can say is it's I like to be a leader. So I want to have my own business and I want I don't want to work in company. I want to have my own one. And I want to have my own dance studio. And I want to teach people I want to people follow me because it's important when people like listen to me, because I want to be a leader. So I want to have a lot of Miami. So my goal is to have my own business and to buy myself ever since then I want cars expensive cars, flats, I have no Samsung lenses. So what motivates me to think about such because I think that's money. Money motivates me a lot. Some people said that. You can't buy happiness. And I don't think that it's true because In our time, you can buy everything that you want and be happy. You just need to have a lot of money. So it's my goal to have a lot of money and to have everything that I want. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 15:12 Thank you and to focus on being a leader. What is it for you the meaning of leadership? How can someone be a leader? Are people born a leader and some people not born a leader? Or what's your perspective, Vita Shevchuk 15:28 I don't think that people are born as a leader, I think that it's some sense that people can learn to be a leader. But to be a leader, you should motivate yourself to reach your goals. And you should be smart. You should I usually talk a lot and talk not only about simple things, because when you're a leader, it's means that people follow you. And they appreciate your ideas, and they appreciate your view. So to be a leader, you, you just need to be smart, is it simply but it's true, you just need to be smart. And so to know, to make people to make people feel that they should follow you. And if they follow you, they can reach Samsung. And in this case, they will listen to you and your ideas. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 16:39 Thank you. And to know a bit more about yourself, new people before meeting you. Do they have some perspective about you maybe have a bitch face or a poker face that makes them think you're angry? Like some Ukrainian girls naturally do? Or what is their perspective? As well as if your friends who know you describe you? How would they say about your personality? Vita Shevchuk 17:09 When I asked my friends like what was your first thoughts about me as a as adds that? I saw that you are such a beach and I said like what why I'm very kind person. And ze i Then I understand that I have some sort of like beach face. But it doesn't mean that I'm that kind it just my face. And if my friends describe me, I think that my close friends as they can say that I'm kind, I'm really generous. And I always think about my friends and my family first and then about myself. It's not very good. But it's true about my personality. I want to help people, I want to solve their problems, I want to listen to them, and I want to be useful for my friends. So if my friends describe me to other people, they might say that that I am the person that can help them to solve their problems. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 18:23 Thank you. That's fascinating. And as a Ukrainian girl with the war happening in Ukraine, how was for you that day? February 24. Can you tell me how did you discover the war started? How did you feel? What was the situation? And these months? How did they change you as a person in your personality? And in your mindset? Vita Shevchuk 18:52 I can say that. As a day before the war started. I met with my friend and we discussed that it can it can happen because believe in 21st century and war What are you talking about? And then next morning, I wake up at five I don't remember five I am and mum said me grab your grab your clothes. We should to leave because it's we're in country and I was like what? Like, how, how can it happen? And but I didn't feel anxious because my parents, they're very calm and thanks to them. I felt very calm too. So I grabbed my clothes we drive to my sister's house. And then in the union we are left to give and we drive to my grandma it's key of region And then we move to another city. It's coming. It's puginsky. And we were there for three months. And it's, I can say that it were very hot. It was very horrible, because I had new friends there in UCT. I attend a dance club there, and everything was fine. But when I opened my phone, and just read news, I was very terrified. Because I don't understand how in 21st century people can be so, so cruel and can do things like this, why they can just leave and beasts leave in their country. And why, why we should, why we should live in danger. Because of other country, it's like, make no sense for me. And now when I, for example, go for a walk to a shopping mall. I am terrified. Because after cetacean increment shoe when a rocket hit to shopping mall, and 1000s of people died, I can't go just in shopping mall without feeling of danger. Because I know that in every moment of my life, I can die because of rock. And it's horrible. It's horrible feelings when you can live a full life because of another country. And it's very sad. But I believe, and I know that very soon, all Ukrainian people will be able to relax, and to return to normal life and to live in a peaceful country. I believe in this very much. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 21:59 Thank you. I really hope the same. And how do you think? Because for example, you talked about how if you go to the shopping mall, you're afraid because it can be bombed, etc. When the war ends? Hopefully there will be victory for Ukraine. Do you think the celebration will make Ukrainian people heal from the traumas become more positive? Or do you think this war will have a trauma and a negative mark on Ukrainians for some generations to come? Vita Shevchuk 22:35 Of course, this war will have drama on all Ukrainian people and our kids and kids of our kids, because it's really a horrible world. We live in really horrible times. And I think that celebration of our victory, it can, like make people feel better make people feel better, yeah. But it's feeling of danger. It's feeling of anxious, and this hate to one country, it will stay with us for all our life. Because all these murders that Russian soldiers do every day, it's horrible. And we we can't it's, it won't be. It won't be true. If if we just forget about all these murders, we should live with this because it's a part of us. It's part of our history. So I think that as its celebration, it's it will be it will be a real huge party, but this experience will be with us for a long time. Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 23:57 Thank you so much Vita. And a final thing. I'm really curious about dance and how much you love it. When you're dancing. How is that experience? Do you think? Or your brain stops thinking? Do you feel your body or more in your emotions? Do you feel the time stops? Or do you feel you're performing and other people are loving it or liking it? How was your experience during dance that makes you love it so much? Vita Shevchuk 24:31 Sar owed I dance for 15 years. And for me it's not just a hobby. It's a way to express my feelings and my anxieties from moments because when I dance, I don't sing about anything I forget about all my problems. For example, when I'm sad, I can play a sad song and then some sin slow like contemporary, and when I'm happy, I can play a happy song and then some synth fest. So it's a way of expressing feelings. And after dancing, I feel better. And I really appreciate that my mom took me to the dance club when I was three years old. And since that time, I understood understands that it's really my, my home be my my seat main thing of my life. And I can't leave with dancer right now. I dance. When I'm home alone. When I'm not home alone, when I was my family, I can dance on street and I attend, attend dance club five or six, six times per week. And it's really it's really cool when you can do something like this. Something that inspires you to leave. And especially now when it's war in Ukraine, when I come to the dance club, I can feel for one hours that I'm alive and as they leave interesting and full life and I can distract myself from bad emotions and from us. So that's an it's like, it's my life at all. Thank Abdulaziz M Alhamdan 26:22 you so much Vita, this was enriching. Very interesting. And all I can say is Slava Ukraini. Vita Shevchuk 26:31 Heroyam Slava. Thank you too. For this experience. It's like very interesting project. I want to wish you good luck with this project. I will share in my social medias and thank you and have a good evening and good life adult
