And when we hear women, when we listen to real lives of women from other countries, we connect our cultures without our differences. Or stereotypes and we get inspired by their stories to live a better life. That's what this podcast is all about.

I get offended very quickly. So, uh, one could say that I am upset, but very quickly I get over it and I return to the optimistic path. Uh, and another, another , important thing they will say about me, that I am an activist, uh, and I am intersectional, uh, feminist.

Mădălina Spivacencu: About the culture. Uh, it seemed to me that, uh, the culture of the Republic of Moldova is one of the most beautiful. We Moldovians tend to preserve traditions and customs and promote them to the next generation. Obviously this is not exactly how it was at the beginning. Uh, everything is modernize and now, uh, something are left behind.
And forgotten. But every Moldovan was raised with this traditional principles as a small child. And this is already in our blood, um, about the feminist. Um, this, this is why I, um, fight with this problem. Cause, uh, in our country a problem with this. Uh, yes, we have equal, uh, r right. , uh, in law, but, uh, social, we don't have this.
And all the [00:06:00] activities, um, all the activities are, we make it, uh, with, um, the feminist, uh, we are to promote women and, uh, their value.

Mădălina Spivacencu: So, like I said about the feminist and uh, my awards I want my future profession to be in the [00:08:00] field of law. Since I was, uh, a smile child, I wanted to be a lawyer, and I tried to release this day by day, even in one project, I had the opportunity to participate in a trial where I was. Uh, a lawyer.

If someone is listening and they travel to a new country, a new school, a new university, and they're alone and they don't know how to make new friends from the beginning, how do you get to know people?
What is your conversation tips for finding commonalities and building new friendship
Mădălina Spivacencu: well, uh, I'm the type of person who thinks I am unfriendly, but inside I'm a child who wants to get to know a lot. Uh, for me, people are bit of mystery, uh, and those who usually, uh, stand aside, spark me in there is the most. Because I think they're such, uh, an intelligent people and, um, have a lot of story to say.

Aziz: Thank you. I really, really love and appreciate this and I'll play the devil's advocate a little bit. I interviewed a girl from Turkey who had the dream to become a lawyer, but then she decided not to when it was time to prepare her papers for university, there was a lot of waiting in different bureaucratic institutions and things like that, and then she thought, oh my God, if I become a lawyer, I'll spend so much [00:11:00] time.
Just going for papers and waiting in buildings all the time, which is not fun. So she chose interior architecture. Do you feel, uh, it could be similar, uh, did you think about this? Or are you planning to study something different like European law or international law.
Mădălina Spivacencu: No, I don't think to change my dream. Uh, but yes, like all the people, I want to develop myself and, uh, to be, um, an European law. or, um, I dunno, international law in law. But, um, for the beginning I want to be a lawyer in my country, uh,, to be familiarized with it, uh, with this subject and then to continue , uh, in this area.
